My fashionistas, wishing you all a very happy and healthy 2013!

No looking back in 2013!

I didn’t kick off 2013 by partying all night on NYE unlike every year as I had to work on a paper that was due for submission but too much work and no play makes it all boring so as soon as the 2013 sun shined in London, I headed for a day out on 1st january to see the New year’s parade in London’s Trafalgar Square, later went for ice skating in Somerset House. I donned a very summer-y top with leather dots and a chiffon shirttail. I would still consider it winter fashion as it has leather dots all over in the front. I wore my red corduroy chinos and black leather boots as it was freezing cold. No I didn’t go out just wearing that, a heavy black long overcoat and and a cashmere shawl to cover my neck.

By now, probably you all know that I collect pieces. I picked up this authentic hand embroidered pure Pashmina shawl some about 7/8 years ago, I hardly wore them ever, so this time thought to wear as ”heavy neck scarf” which is the trend of the season.

Ignore the price tag (I have this strange habit of keeping them, especially when i wear it for the first time;)

IMG_9446IMG_9435With leather details and colored trousers, I had to go very light on the eyes, so just drew my eye line with black and then drew another line above with the golden eye liner from Chanel. A red lips was so needed when the eye make-up was neutral. I have been loving the sparkly nails since the winter begun, I had this hot pink nails with glittery head on the first day of the year and completely besotted by the very spark of it.
