Falling of leaves is not a win for winter, right? What falls from the trees during fall is only to make way for the new bloom – only on the other side of the winter. Like a regular ritual every year, it becomes a moment of reflection while taking a promenade in the many London parks which turn golden with the fall foliage abound.
The familiar paths through the woods get covered with the memories of the trees encrypted in the leaves that held the stories of being swayed in the wind in the months of recent past. The increasingly grey sky strengthened its appearance seen through the near naked trees busy shedding its leafy ornaments. Sit on a bench or keep stepping on the leaves, contemplate at the leaves amassed or concentrate at the sound they make in pain and anguish when you step on them – autumn is here and the transition in nature is in full swing.
When the green grass of summer gets covered with the golden leaves, the stage is set to spread your stuff on the surface. Sit down, lie down, face up and face the sky to let the leaves tell you the story of their yearnings. Before winter sets in to chill and thrill, before the last few days of the golden sunshine on the golden foliage, go out and absorb the autumn vibes.
