Expensive price tags infer high quality. The age-old adage that marketeers have applied on consumers time after time. With so many events and parties to attend during this festive season, best to keep in mind the contrary that style statements can still be made fashionably while being kind to your pocket. In this post, I share with you how to bring out the oomph factor in a dress under £50 and make it look worth for New Year’s Eve or for any of the numerous Christmas parties to attend.

The moon doesn’t have lights of its own, it merely reflects the light from the Sun. Time to bask in reflected glory in this glorious fashion set up because my under £50 dress was made to appear as posh and classy thanks to the expensive looking polki necklace that I put around my neck.

This simple wrap maxi dress looked simply gorgeous with a fine balance struck between the elements in play. Note that not everything was super expensive, it doesn’t need to be so. In the case of this look, the shine and swag of the necklace pulled up the wow factor considerably.
It might as well be a berry merry Christmas because I preferred to don a berry coloured dress as I think unlike red which is hot and loud, berry ferries a sense of depth, passion and richness which will blend well with one of the themes of the festive evenings this season. This colour also goes well with metallic accessories, so my silver clutch stood out vividly against the berry backdrop. Super stylish stilettos added the heightened glam from top to toe.
You will notice that I have also done my hair in one side with vintage tight curls, I finished the look with copper-bronze eye makeup and berry toned lipstick to blend well with the berry hue dress.

I must admit another thing that being 7 + months pregnant, it was surely a sweet struggle to fit my bump into a regular dress meant for festive occasions aka partywears. Hence I had to opt for a maternity wear to serve my purpose. Links that I have provided for you below will lead you to the non-maternity sections of the similar designs, so we get what we want depending on which stage of our lives (and body!) we are in now.
