My fashionistas, summer is making its exit from our life slowly. So, before it fades out completely, I thought to write a post with one of the summer wardrobe staples: Tube tops or some may say boob tops. A cute tube top with a pair of sexy jeans or a short skirt will always be on trend.
My research finding confirms that the first ever tube top was made in error. Thank your lucky stars for that error;) This is such a versatile and useful piece of clothing- versatile because you can style it in a dozen ways, useful, because you can wear them in all seasons- yes, all seasons! How? Wear them on its own in summer and layer them up in winter so that when indoor, you can take off your layers and simply sizzle in this garment that just wraps around your upper torso. Perfect for those who have broad shoulder, prominent collar bones and well trained arms. But even you have none of those, just layer it with a waist coat or a smart biker jacket and you are no less than a size 8 fashionista.
Top tip: The best tube tops are the one with an inner bra and gathers in the sides at the top. Make sure you wear a strapless and seamless bra to get the perfect look.
For a laidback weekend day look when I am in a mood to walk in the park in a lazy afternoon, I wore this tube top with an uniform sleeveless jacket and paired it with a mini skirt and a pair of beaded ankle cuff flat sandal. I have matched the clutch bag with the tube top, accessorized with 60’s large movie star glasses, large earring and a portugese styled headband.
Try it, if you like it, drop me a line at the comment section as I like to hear what you have to say.
