My fashionistas, today being 1st of December, arguably makes it officially the winter season. What are you going to wear for this winter season? Being a Londoner, I’m already in the season but there has been a significant change in weather this year. November was moderately cold this year with no snow but annoyingly rainy most of the time. But the forecasts for the coming days have begun to be made to allow us to prepare our wardrobe and to know what everyone is going to wear in winter. Of course, there is a wide collection available and we all have to prepare ourselves to welcome the new designs, colors, lengths, sizes and materials.
For the materials that I always find topping my list in winter season, is leather and wool that can make the jacket, pants/leggings, hat or coat that you wear more luxurious to increase your beauty and make you catchier.
Noticeably, the tropically incompatible materials of leather and wool emerge as big winners during winter season. With mix and match supple leather and woolen separates in simple silhouettes have been my favorites for chilly winter days. This patent leather pants paired with polo neck wool jumper and pure baby Alpaca wool hand knitted peruvian beanie hat worn with black ankle boots is my first winter look this season, officially.
The distinct details of the peruvian woolen beanie hat, the faux- leather tote, the gold metallic detail in the ankle boots, to the peacock pendant in the neck, makes this outfit stand out. I sported this look during my visit to the Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park on Saturday. While the almost flat ankle boots were perfectly comfortable for walking around the christmas market, the woolen beanie cosily snuggled up my ear as it was an outdoor fair. The leather pants jazzed up the entire look with its rock chic character that didn’t make me feel out of the place while enjoying live bands play party hits from 60s to the 00s.
Choosing the best leather and woolen separates and incorporating them together in a look for you in this winter season depends on what matches your clothes, what can reflect your personality and what makes you comfortable while being worn.
Wear wool and leather to keep yourself warm this winter! Looking forward to share more winter looks under Vogue. Stay tuned, stay stunned!
