The small things of life are often much bigger than the great things. The trivial pleasure like buying a thing for one’s home, going to bed to sleep on a crispy new bedsheet, buying a present for your loved ones, those solitary walks, funny things seen and overheard. I cherish these single moments more than ever. Bigger things in life always snatch away the time from these small pleasures of life. I started a mission of redoing our current home since the end of last year, we bought a few new furnitures, collected some decoration pieces from accross the world from our various voyages in 2014 and now inching towards moving into a bigger home this year. Next month, we will complete 7 years of ‘saying it in black & white’, this is also the year we have completed 15 years of loving each other which calls for a big celebration and you know our ways to celebrate and mark a special month like this- yes, we are getting ready for our first voyage of 2015 and guess what! this is going to be my ”Dream” destination, the real one of all. Just a month from now, all planning and research is on full-swing: wardrobes to pack, places to see, adventures to do, what to eat… all are on my mind. Apart from the holiday planning, this weekend will be spent on celebrating (in spirit as he lives in India) my nephew Krishi-pooh’s birthday tomorrow- 22nd February and then watching a world cup cricket match between India and South Africa in the morning and late at night Oscars with home-made Spaghetti Bolognese on Sunday.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
