Autumn Bloom Print

Picking up threads from Russia and we’ve already applied for the  visa for our next and last voyage of 2015 (I told ya, planning in advance helps!). Travelling has become such an important part of our life and I’ve been appreciating every second of it. As you guys know before our trip to  Russia, I was able to plan my wardrobe meticulously and shared with you all on Facebook, Instagram and even on a post here. During this time I noticed that I’ve been consistently alternating between two looks —one which is more casual and suited for every day things, like seeing family or getting groceries, and the second look is with outfits that is more special occassion wear and can fit right into party. I feel like I’m slowly becoming a master of mixing up the formal and informal attire for every day life.

What I love about this specific look is the combination of all colors or as we call it ‘colorblocking’ which you can never go wrong with, and a chic figure hugging kimono sleeve midi dress. The autumn bloom print on this dress is absolutely incredible and the slim fit makes me feel very elegant, but most importantly, comfortable. For me, what makes a perfect relaxed outfit is one that incorporates comfort and style together seamlessly, and that’s exactly what this ensemble does. To add some flare to the dress and its color, making sure they don’t just blend together, I picked up this vibrant pushlock colorblock mini satchel as it gives a dash of extra spice to the look. It transforms what could be a casual look into something more exciting. It’s fun to carry my essentials in this mini satchel when going all tourist-y, also sometimes as it embodies the ultimate level of comfort. Again, accessories are everything. To go really casual, I opted for my glossy Little Munchkin pointed ballet flats, an adorable golden hoop earrings and a two tone ring with amethyst and turquoise. A messy top bun has kept this look neat and ensured that the focus is on the dress, precisely on the print….of blooming autumn!
