Transitional Waistcoat

There is nothing quite as satisfying as finding the perfect seasonal transitional piece and this waistcoat from Zara is just that.

The fit is loose and the fabric isn’t too heavy, making it a great choice for autumn. I was immediately attracted to this waistcoat or vest as some may call it.  When I saw the vibrant deep shade of army green, it felt so classic and beautiful to me that it was hard to look away.

The classic color and intricate waterfall patterns along the front make it a stand out piece, so it is best to pair this waistcoat with something a little more wardrobe basic and minimal, so that it’s not overshadowed. What’s great about this waistcoat is that it’s suitable for an evening of lounging or a day out and about. It’s somehow has the perfect combination of ease and luxury—the epitome of laid-back chic. Wearing this actually makes me really excited for the cooler weather. Autumn, I’m lovin’ you.
