How privileged a feeling it is when you get food delivered at home. Even better is when you get it served straight in your bed especially right after you open your lazy sleepy eyes on a Sunday. Obviously we won’t be able to bring the breakfast to your bed but can share with you the small little details to make your Sunday breakfast a perfect balance of nutrition, appetite, colour and comfort.
Call it a fruit or a vegetable, Avocado is magic. Especially when it is pasted on toasts and hosting some grilled or roasted tomatoes with it – it can make for an amazing breakfast item. My love for Avocado Toast runs deep. Really deep. So deep that I rounded up a sunday breakfast version for you all.
Some like to chew while some like to drink – fruits that is. The beautographer and I religiously perform the ritual of having a glass of freshly squeezed orange, apple, ginger and carrot to wake up our internal organs.
Our morning detox For carrots, one apple, two oranges and a little slice of ginger squeezed into two glasses of fresh juice give us the best morning detox
Here we do the same to flank the toasts.
Finally no breakfast can be complete, no waking up can be worth it if not concluded with a hot cup of home-made tea. Sorry folks no coffees for us since what makes Britain Great is Tea and what makes Great ‘great’ is a ‘t’ or ‘tea’. We share with you our own twist of putting some crushed cardamom and ginger into boiling water which gets accompanied with loose tea and warm milk for the perfect liquor and aroma.

Sunday Breakfast in Bed: Avocado Toast Served With Juice & Tea
Ingredients I used
2 pieces thick cut bread
freshly squeeze lemon juice
Sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
1 egg, boiled
1 tomatoe, cut into thick slices
4-6 cherry tomatoes, cut into halves
Lets Make Now
Step one: Toast the pieces of bread until the bread is just golden brown. I love to add a little butter.
Step Two: For the avocado spread, remove the pit from the avocado and discard. Remove the avocado from the skin and place the avocado flesh into a medium bowl and mash it with a fork and a squeeze of the fresh lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper as needed. To make it a finer paste, I prefer to put it in a blender without adding water and give just one or two blitz.
Step Three: In a fry pan, add a little butter and lay the tomato slices to roast them until light brown. Turn to the other side. Remove them from heat.
Step Four: In the same pan, add the pieces of cherry tomatoes. Roast them same way until light brown on both sides. Remove from heat.
Step Five: Slater the mashed avocado on top of the toast, followed by the boiled egg and grilled or roasted tomatoes.
