It was Saturday and there was no reason to stay at home when the Sun was shining in London town, although the weather in the UK is still behaving like a toddler- you never know what to expect next hour. Spring is sneak-peeking in London, finally! Beautographer and I went to brunch after long and strolled through the streets of central London and oh! a bit of sunshine swing for me (sunshine does that to me!). I think my outfit choice for this day-date reflected the relaxed energy that radiates throughout the chilly spring day of a Londoner’s weekend.
I absolutely adore fluorescent tones for spring. It’s tender and refreshing. With such a refreshing fluorescent red colored envelope clutch, I love it when it’s coupled with cute patterns like Polka dot.
From pleated midi skirt in polka dot to the comfy converse, it’s an effortless, stylish comfort that is suitable for the brunch with the beau or besties, a picnic in the park, or casual workwear on Friday. Putting together this look for the weekend day out was so much fun. I love the details on this off-white blouse because it’s unlike any other tops I’ve worn before. The pleated skirt made twirling around and dancing a lot of fun with the fabric swaying and it kind of gave off a more feminine feeling.
To prepare myself better for the weather, I have layered this look with a classic trench coat that has strong features but pretty useful for less chilly days in London – be it spring or autumn. The length, detachable warmer inner waist coat (can be worn with or without depending how cold it is outside!), and double-breasted button placket make this the ultimate must-have for every woman’s wardrobe.
Happy Tuesday everyone and thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoy the pairings.
