“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.”
― Albert Camus

Autumn!!! Welcome to the months of freshness in the air, drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows, curling up with warm knit, a cup of tea and a good book, the lazy mornings filled with comforting breakfasts, the wellies and woollens and the long walks in the crispy fallen leaves. It’s bliss! It’s my favourite season, more because I’m an autumn born, and we got to experience a quick sample of autumn over the weekend when we went for a day out cycling around and strolling down the Hyde Park.

You might not know this about me but I’m all about embracing colours of the season with open arms. So, I added this pure suede leather bucket bag in my closet in autumn leaf hue. To style this bag, I opted for a super bargain buy- this striped shirt jumper. The fabric feels so soft to the skin that I wanted to sleep in it, I kid you not! I love this trend because it adds a little bit of drama to a casual ensemble and perfect for those long haul flights (I’m about to take one by the end of this week) as it covers your butt. I’m a fan so I’ll be stocking up on shirt jumpers and/or cardigans this autumn.

Another transitional trend that I adore is adding hair accessories to your look. I love my woollen hats in autumn, however, I have also found a low-duty, feminine way to style your 3 days old dirty hair by tying a satin ribbon around ponytails. I picked up a striped satin ribbon because I knew it would pair perfectly with pretty much anything in my closet.

All in all, this is a look I would recreate and tweak over and over again just by switching to a different pair of shoes or the jumper. I love outfits that are so versatile and have this much milage, I’m sure you’ll feel me out there! Have a great start to the new week!
