We made our way to the branch in Covent Garden to immerse ourselves in the beautiful co-existence of plants, garden accessories and organically sourced food to savor (Nearest tube station: Covent Garden).

Based on the philosophies of being natural, thoughtful, respectful, nurturing and visionary – Petersham Nurseries in Covent Garden offered us an oasis of calm and comfort in the very bustling and busy heart of Central London.

Pots, plants and patios – what is special about the Petersham Nurseries is that it looks and feels part home, part museum. As if walking through the personal space of a family, the warmth and nurture for natural elements are perfectly felt inside the premises. The earthly smell coming off the earth pots and the vintage looking items to adorn gardens and patios with – all had a mysterious element and entice of discovery that is often felt inside museums.

After some carefree browsing and soaking in the vibes, an alfresco dining at the Floral Court would have been a wonderful experience had we reserved earlier. Strongly recommended is a reservation, especially during the glorious days of summer sunshine, the Floral Court connects the Petersham Nurseries Shop, Florist, Delicatessen and the Cellar with the Petersham and La Goccia restaurants and bar.

Mirrors, frames, pictures, gift items, rugs, lighting, vase, candles, garden accessories, furniture and hardware – The Petersham Nurseries is nicely located in the heartbeat of London, gently inviting tourists and locals alike to step in. A subtle allure to the green, a fresh approach to the natural and a peaceful passing of tranquil moments nurturing everything that is natural – we strongly assume that there must be moments of calm between busy meal hours in the day inside the Petersham Nurseries. Along with feeling like a home and a museum, it must also feel like a serene sanctuary at times.
