A balmy weekend and not to visit a gallery or a museum in London or being out there in a park is unthinkable actually.
My fashionistas, I’m happy to be back home from our week-long road trip in Norway and embrace the last few days of English Summer before we leave again for a new destination in Autumn. In this post, I am sharing a look I sported with classic white touch during my recent holiday in Norway. Usually we choose and pick a place to shoot outfit posts but it will not be untrue if I say that because this place looks like a scene from Hansel & Gretel, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to do a quick shoot before we hit the road again for our next destination to Bergen. This courtyard of our holiday cottage Byrkjedalstunet in where we stayed for a couple nights, is situated in the lap of mountain range, literally in the middle of nowhere but somewhere in between Stavanger and Lyseboten. This place is just like a miniature Norway! It is amazing what you can create when you dare to look beyond grass and rock. Hoping you would love this fairytale lookalike land as much as I did while I was being photographed wandering over the private cottages, its adjacent garden – a home for poultry and exotic sheep, breathtaking flora & fauna, water stream flowing through rocky river and lush greenery.
Team OneTimeFashionista’s Morocco madness continues as I started sorting the bajillion of pictures we took. It will surprise nobody that we’ve returned from our “less than 10 days maiden voyage to Morocco” – already longing to go back. My wish to stay on..and on..and on.. is becoming stronger and deeper as mystery unfolds about this intensely vibrant country. Marrakech alone could be the place for which natural oohs and aahhs are fully warranted! In this post, we take you to the magical Majorelle Gardens– discovered by Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) and Pierre Bergé in 1966, during their first stay in Marrakech.
My fashionistas, I could wear whatever I wanted for new year celebration, but this year, instead of wearing an expected cocktail dress or a predicted gown, I chose a tuxedo. What better way to stand out in a sea of fit and flare frocks and cutout sheaths than to throw the crowd a curve ball like this! Who can forget Gwyneth Paltrow’s recent pictures looking surprisingly edgy modelling a tuxedo — with nothing underneath — for Hugo Boss? Other celebrities aren’t immune to the trend either. So, inspired by celebs like Keira Knightly, Emma Roberts, Kate Moss and many others, I’ve rounded up my favorite look of this party season for all of us women borrowing from the boys, in this white tuxedo with an ever-so-elegant and classic black lapel, paired with a black tank top. Stepping out in tuxedo made from cobalt silks and cut in a silhouette (skinny and cropped) but perfectly tailored has been the best outfit choice to usher into the new year- 2015. And just, well, stylish.
