A sure shot way to chill out in Chile would be to spend half a day at the wineries right on the outskirts of the capital Santiago. Flanked by the Andes in one side and the mighty Pacific on the other, the Chilean territory is a winery paradise with ideal temperatures, soil quality, wind and moisture needed for quality grapes to be produced.
On our 2nd and final day in Krakow, we went to visit the World War II Concentration Camps situated at Auschwitz and Birkenau. Situated less than two hour drive from Krakow, it is imperative for any modern day voyager to treat the visit to these locations as a pilgrimage.

Like a flowing river twists and turns in its course, there are events that take place in our lives which take us to new emotions and experiences. On the 8th anniversary of our union in marriage, we looked back at the 8 defining events or experiences which led us to where we are now. Shedding light on the right eight is the perfect opportunity to reflect on where we started from, what we have been through and what we are heading towards. Come join us as you read through the octagon of such defining episodes.
We had been feeling selfish for a while not to write about this experience with you. We were exposed to the mean version of us which just wanted to keep guarding the secret of Egypt all by ourselves. Eventually we gave up because of the power of a natural beauty which is unforeseen, unequalled and untouched, all of which proved to be stronger than our selfishness of concealing it.
Cairo will prove to be colourful but chaotic. If the cacophony burns you out, you will know it’s time to travel up to Upper Egypt where the Valley of the Kings lies. In other words, you have to step away from crazy Cairo to step into the realm of history and luxury – which is only found in Luxor. While you contemplate at the setting sun from the banks of the river Nile, you can look away at the majestically meditating vast Valley of the Kings turning from orange to pink. You can feel lost in thoughts and reflections of time and of yourself, all from the best spot in Luxor to absorb a whole range of history and charm. And that is possible only from the river-facing abundant terrace of the Sonesta St. George Hotel.
In 2015, Team Onetimefashionista set voyage across 4 countries, 2 islands, 2 deserts and 13 cities/locations in 4 continents to share the joy with you that how addictive and enriching it is to see the world by yourself with all your senses. Earlier in 2015, we set foot on the southern most point of the United States where the foamy waves of the Pacific Ocean splashed on our feet in the beautiful Hawaiian Islands. We climbed up the Kjerag Mountains to see a dangling rock and completed an epic 2200 km cross-country drive through the country where God lives – Norway. Then we put a big tick on the biggest country of the whole world while we hummed and followed “The Moskva, down to Gorky Park, listening to the wind of change…” in Russia. Finally, towards the end of the happening year, we went to the cradle from where it all started for the human civilisation – Egypt – where it all began!
